Perfect replacement of the florescent bulbs. I like the hardwire type so I can eliminate the ballast.

Customer service

Do not have this item shipped to your home. Especially by FedEx. Fedex broke the package to the point of undeliverable. Lowe’s nor FedEx will take responsibility for this. Lowe’s had no trouble taking my money. But they have horrible customer service.

You need to buy more parts for this to work safely

Product did exactly what it said it would do, no fit issue. It fits the T12 or T8 socket sizes so there's absolutely no issue in converting from your old fluorescent bulbs tubes to these and the socket not fitting. BUT big BUT, neither the manufacturer NOR Lowe's includes or Sells (As required on the packaging) the one amp inline fuse which should be 18 gauge wire in the package or EVEN in the LOWE'S store.!!!!!!!! Manufacturer could have included it as a norm for maybe 30 cents or less when m...

Making the old new again

I purchased these bulbs to convert a couple of older 4-foot florescent lamps where both the bulbs and ballasts were failing. Removal of the old fixtures would have required a somewhat expensive remodeling, so it was easier and cheaper to convert those fixtures over to use these Type B replacements.
