Good, dependable ballast

I use these to replace old light ballasts in our office. These seem to last several years (7-10 years?).

Ballast

Have installed several of these commercial rated ballast in two different businesses over the last 3-4 years. No problems thus far.

Worked for what I needed

Had to replace this ballast that failed over a weekend. Previous one of the same model lasted about 3 years in a home kitchen. I feel like the lifespan is a bit short. I would have removed and installed direct wire LED tubes, but they weren't available at Lowes and I couldn't wait to order. There were no LED fixtures that would match the kitchen either. So without a choice I picked up another one of these, install went quickly and easily and the lights are on once again.

2 out of 3 isn't bad but it isn't good either.

Paid the extra $10 per ballast to get the better product, suposedly. Purchased 3 of these tonight to fix up a buddies failed garage lighting. Worked great on his 4 bulb fixture and one of his identical 3 bulb fixtures. One of the 3 bulb fixtures is buzzed like crazy though. Identical wiring to the other identical fixture. Will be exchanging that ballast in the coming days.

It does what the old one would no longer do! Lite my fluorescent bulbs.

Lighting

Bought this item from Lowe’s, and it was an easy install. It worked as soon as it was installed.

30 day wonder

Replaced original ballast after 6 years this one lasted 30 days now on second replacement not sure it will last. New bulbs but so has 2-3 second delay before coming on.

Easy to Install

I was not too sure in the beginning as to how hard it might be to install a new ballast for the light fixture for my home. However, my son and I did the replacement process fairly quickly and easily.
