Broke after first use

I tried to get a bolt off my car using this Gator Grip and it broke as soon as I started to loosen the bolt. Not sure if this was a "dud" or "lemon" but I cannot use it anymore. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Awesome

Don't buy this product!

I liked the fact that it could fit any bolt head, but when I tried to use it in my drill, it didn't work. I was installing a TV mount and did not have the correct wrench size to screw the bolt on the back plate of the wall mount. So I went to Lowe's and an associate recommended this Gator. I was excited because it was going to fit any type (size) of bolt head and I would be able to use it in my drill. When I got home, I placed it in my drill and it did fit over the bolt I was attempting to screw...

The right tool at the right time.

I bought this to help me remove the screws from my christmas tree stand. It worked great! After attaching it to my cordless drill, it fit nicely around the head of the screws and in less than a minute I had all four screws removed. Last year I had to do it by hand and it took twenty minutes of labor, so this universal socket saved me a lot of time and effort.

Great tool - getting it from Lowe's was not simple

The product itself is very neat-getting it from Lowe's was not! I looked online and fou9nd that the store nearest me(Monroeville,PA) had 5 of them. I went in, looked around, couldn't find them. I did find a guy who seemed to be in charge of the "Tools" section, and described it to him. "Yeah, we don't it," he said. "But the website says you have 5," I replied. "Website's wrong, it is lots." So I went home, went to the website & ordered it for store pickup, and the order was confirmed. So I went b...

Great idea. Worthless in reality.

What a great idea. In theory. Pretty useless unless you get your odd shaped item precisely in the center.

Junk

First use it just mangled itself around the bolt. Added one more thing to get unstuck

Takes up very little space

the versatility of using on multiple sizes is great.

A must for the diy designer/ handyman

Works well

Don’t waste your money

Product broke after the first use. Some of the pins that pop up are stuck and now it’s useless.

A Must-Have for Any Took Kit

I had one of these years ago, and I purchased this one as a quick help when I’m doing my weekend projects.

Time saving tool.

It is a time saver when I am looking for just the right size socket.
