What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these outlet spacers as an essential solution for recessed outlets after renovations like tile, backsplash, or drywall work. Most highlight how easy they are to install—simply stack, trim with a utility knife, and secure with longer screws. The customizable 0.1-inch increments allow a flush, secure fit without cracking. Reviewers consistently note the solid plastic construction, UL listing for electrical safety, and modular design eliminate the need for an electrician. Many consider the investment worthwhile compared to professional fees. A few mention minor installation challenges or pricing concerns, but the vast majority find them indispensable for home renovations.

Would RecommendThese worked as advertised. I have an outlet in my kitchen that ended up recessed after a contractor installed a backsplash. The prongs on some electric plugs wouldn’t insert far enough to get power. I inserted two of these spacers on each of the two screws holding the outlet to the box. Problem solved.

Outlet Spacers
Would RecommendWorked as advertised and fixed our issue! We recently added 1/4" tile backsplash to our kitchen resulting in a gap with the outlet faceplates. These spacers compensated for the extra thickness of the tile and allowed our outlets to fit flush. Great product!

Awesome Spacers
Would RecommendThese great little spacers are awesome for electrical projects
Simple, but effective
Would RecommendThe plastic spacers work great for remedying outlets that sink to far into the junction box because the drywall does not support the outlet "ears." They lock together like Legos so that you can select a range of thicknesses. Then they sort of snap onto the anchor screw as you tighten the outlet into place.

Good Spacer, Tight Fit
Would RecommendThe dogears of the light switch I was installing did not catch the wall's dry board. I was able to tighten the switch to the wall plate but the switch was wobbly. I installed a few of these spacers between the metal electrical box & the wall plate. Very easy to do. The switch tightened up correctly without the wobble. It didn't matter that the dogears did not catch the drywall.
