5/8" Ground Rod Not Quite
Would RecommendThe 5/8" Ground rod is really a 1/2" steel rod with a copper clad coating. The coating doesn't bring the diameter of the rod to 5/8". It is something between 1/2" and something less than 5/8". Perhaps a better way to advertise the ground rod is the say 1/2" copper clad ground rod. Then there is no expectation that the outside diameter is 5/8". The quality of the copper cladding is good.

On me really, I thought this was a solid copper rod, it is not, it's copper coated. An 8' piece of of copper pipe would of worked better for my application. The wording, copper grounding rod is misleading...I should of read deeper.
