I just found out you discontinued this product. I am absolutely at a loss that you would get rid of something that I had a hard enough time getting when you made it. This is by far the best tasting coffee you had. Please bring it back. This is crazy. I really hope you come to your senses and bring it back. Very sad customer now looking for something that is even comperable.

BRING IT BACK NOW!!!!
Would RecommendI was always a 100% Colombian drinker, but from the first time I tasted black gold, it was all I bought. I would buy the cartons 4 at a time and go through about 1 a week, even more in the winter. Why would you get rid of something that sells? Why would you ever pull something from the shelves that you are making money on??? I have been chasing this flavor for months now trying to find something comparable, all to no avail. Wouldn’t it be sweet if a company in 2026 actually cared about t...

Wonderful coffee - please bring it back!
This coffee was one of the best from Folgers. It was smooth, nutty, full body and had amazing flavor. For the price point, it was really awesome and fresh. Why discontinue it? Please bring it back. So many customers are a fan. I drink all sorts of premium coffee and this one really surprised me. I stocked up on it but now Folgers discontinued it. It's really sad!!

Great coffee - bring it back!
Would RecommendPlease bring this back. This is great coffee and there's nothing else decent at this price point. For people who love a dark roast coffee and aren't wanting designer whole beans, this is the one. WHy would you stop making such a great product?

Missing Black Gold 😔
Would RecommendPlease bring it back! The Black Gold ground was the best. I have been trying to find something, anything similar to no avail. Been a Folgers customer for many moons and no longer can hear in my head, "the best part of waking up is Folgers (Black Gold) in my cup."

Love it. Please bring it back.
Would RecommendI am so sad and disappointed Black Gold has been discontinued. I started using it at home when if first came on the market. Then when I started a new job, I introduced it to the office - and everyone loves it. I hope you will bring it back!!

Heartbroken this has been discontinued
Would RecommendI am heartbroken that we are on our last container of 1850 dark roast. Have no idea why such a perfect coffee would be discontinued. I agree with the previous poster…i will cry when it is all gone. Now need to search for a replacement.

Would RecommendBest dark roast ever, strong but not bitter, chocolatey and a hint of cherry flavor, so good, so disappointed they have discontinued it. Don't know what we're going to move to for our staple coffee. Way to go Smuckers! Thanks a lot for cancelling the best coffee ever (dark roast) and that's all we drink is dark roast so best coffee to us. When we run out I'm going to cry, it's that good!

Good dark roast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Their dark roast tastes pretty good especially to mix in for making lattes or other flavored coffee such as pistachio or caramel. The taste is smooth and not too acidic.

10/10
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blend of 100% arabica beans delivers incredible strength and bold, rich flavor yet it remains remarkably smooth with almost no bitterness. It’s stays noticeably fresh thanks to the quality packaging, and for such a premium dark roast it’s an unbeatable value.
