What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this oak transition piece for creating seamless, professional-looking connections between different flooring types and heights. Most highlight excellent fit, solid oak construction that feels premium, and how effectively it bridges gaps up to three-eighths inch while eliminating tripping hazards. Reviewers note it takes stain exceptionally well, matching existing floors with common products like Minwax. Installation is straightforward using liquid nails or screws, with pre-drilling preventing splitting. A few mention it runs slightly narrower than advertised or too thin for larger discrepancies, but most consider it an essential finishing touch that completes flooring projects beautifully.

Great transition between floor heights
Would RecommendWorked perfectly for our needs, transitioning from an existing hardwood floor to a new tile floor that was about 3/8" higher. We cut it to length, and otherwise it fit perfectly. Lightly sanded, stained, and varnished, and it came out looking great.
