What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this oak transition piece for creating seamless, invisible transitions between different flooring heights—hardwood, tile, carpet, and vinyl. Reviewers highlight the solid oak construction as dense and durable, noting it takes stain exceptionally well for exact color matching. Installation is consistently described as straightforward with precise dimensions requiring minimal adjustment. Most appreciate it eliminates costly custom alternatives. A few report edge splintering or occasional color mismatches, and some find the price steep, though most consider it a worthwhile investment for professional-quality results.

Great transition between floor heights
Would RecommendWorked perfectly for our needs, transitioning from an existing hardwood floor to a new tile floor that was about 3/8" higher. We cut it to length, and otherwise it fit perfectly. Lightly sanded, stained, and varnished, and it came out looking great.
