What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this oak reducer molding for creating seamless transitions between different flooring heights, particularly in doorways and hallways. The solid oak construction feels substantial and premium, matching existing hardwood floors beautifully. Reviewers consistently note the 3/8" height works perfectly for common floor differentials and takes stain exceptionally well. Installation is straightforward—customers easily cut, stain, and secure it with minimal effort. A few report minor splintering during cutting or find it slightly thin for their needs, but these concerns are far outweighed by widespread satisfaction with this professional-grade finishing solution.

Great transition between floor heights
Would RecommendWorked perfectly for our needs, transitioning from an existing hardwood floor to a new tile floor that was about 3/8" higher. We cut it to length, and otherwise it fit perfectly. Lightly sanded, stained, and varnished, and it came out looking great.
