What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this oak transition piece for creating seamless, invisible transitions between different flooring heights—particularly between hardwood, tile, carpet, and vinyl. The solid oak construction feels substantial and authentic, matching existing floors beautifully whether pre-stained or customized. Most find installation straightforward, easily cutting and staining it to fit their needs. A few note the narrow width insufficient for larger height differences, and some mention pricing concerns, though quality typically justifies the cost. Overall, reviewers consider it an ideal finishing touch for DIY flooring projects.

Great value and timesaver
Would RecommendAbsolutely love these! They make the floor look great and literally take 3 minutes to install. I put mine down with Liquid Nails and they will stay forever. Takes stain very well.

too narrow
Would Not RecommendThe piece is not 2.75 inches wide. It's just over 2" wide. This is the third time i've ordered products which were not what was on the spec. Not sure what to do, i need to finish the project.

Measure carefully!
Would RecommendUnfortunately, this reducer wasn't high enough to overcome the height differential in my floors, so I used another product from this manufacturer that did the job, but didn't have the gentle ramps. I think the packaging and description online could be better, and they might want to offer this product with different heights, perhaps in 1/4" or 1/8" increments.
