Ratings & Reviews for Flex Paste 9-fl oz Black Paste Waterproof Rubberized Coating
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the product for reliably stopping water leaks and sealing cracks in roofs, bathtubs, windows, and basements, with many reporting successful repairs and planning repeat purchases. However, a substantial group encountered hardened, dried, or unusable paste upon opening, with some finding half the container unusable. Others describe application challenges, noting it spreads thickly, adheres poorly to surfaces, or dries too quickly. Despite these consistency and usability concerns, most customers who received functional product consider it effective for home repairs.

Good
Would RecommendGood for what it is, Used it on an RV roof.
A great product but needs better packaging.
Would Not RecommendWe have used FLEX on so many things around the house. We needed this to seal some tile but when we opened the can and it was dry. We could not even dig into it to get the stuff out. We returned it and opened several cans and they were all dried up. Needless to say we did not buy any.
Great Seal!
Would RecommendVery easy to use. Sealed as it was advertised.
Use caution,
Used once on pipe dripping, didn't hold. Kept can closed per directions. Next use most of can had set up
Very pricey, used it before
Would RecommendPerforms as described
Seals everything
Would RecommendWorks well to seal things. But broke get a heavier duty caulk gun, it broke the cheaper gray one.

Not what I expected for the job I purchased it for
Would RecommendI didn't realize that this product would be so hard to apply smoothly, or that I could not sand it after it dried. For my project, it was not suitable. Make sure you evaluate it before purchasing. It does appear to be a quality product, but know what you're getting before purchase.
5/10
It does the job, but the application was rough.
