Would Not RecommendThese are quite sharp, but after less than six months of occasional use they won't close. I've cleaned and lubricated the cheap spring the action hinges on, but nothing. I expect much better from Fiskars' products.

Would Not RecommendGot these for some repetitive trimming work, thinking that the curved blades would be helpful, and they were… at first. Unfortunately, the rest of the design is AWFUL. They are only held together by a small clasp, that in the middle of making multiple cuts as you manipulate the plant in your other hand, just slips off, making the snips fall apart in your hand. Sharp!! Durable?
Would RecommendWonderfully sharp; actually even more useful as best toenail clippers I have ever owned. However, after about 2 months of use, the handle snapped in my hand while I was pruning something relatively thin, directly behind where one of the cutting blades inserted into the plastic handle. I am going to buy another for precision cutting (toenails) and get something stronger for pruning work.
