Would Not RecommendI see that many others are having difficulty with the spring disengaging. My son purchased it for my birthday in May and lasted until mid -August. I have contacted Fiskars and sent them a photo of the pruner missing the spring. They are requiring that I sent my broken pruner back to them in an insured, trackable package. It weighs 12 oz so it will be interesting to see how much that will cost. And will they reimburse me for shipping costs?

Spring popped out on second day during normal use
Spring is not captured well and tends to fly away during normal use. I am very frustrated with Fiskers as this was a replacement for a previous set where the locking slide cracked after just a year, and the ratcheting metal failed. I purchased it due to the blade sharpness and handle design, but repeated failures on the job will have me seeking a replacement and looking at other brands.

Even though they were sharp, and cut well, I bought 2 and used them very little when the spring to retract the blades flew off the the pruner and disappeared. This happened to both pairs that I bought and I no longer have the receipt and the pruners are unusable.
