Would RecommendWe absolutely have loved these loppers for the past 3years. The house we bought had an overgrown backyard with unkept plants and trees. (I wish I had taken a picture of the before we started yard). We have trimmed, cut up branches to be able to burn with these loppers without sharpening or failure…until today. One of the handles fell apart when I extended it. Thankfully my husband was able to fix it & you can’t even tell it fell apart. I will be replacing them if anything happens without a doubt...

Steel snapped within one week
These loppers snapped in half while attempting to cut a small sumac tree just an inch and half in diameter. Total junk product. I chose the Fiskars loppers because I thought this was a quality and reputable brand. Utterly disappointed and shocked at how easily these loppers catastrophically failed.

Would RecommendI bought my loppers many years ago (maybe 10-ish) and I have done so much lopping every year. They make my pruning and lopping sooo much easier. They give me a lot of leverage in cutting larger branches and give me a great reach too. Everything is intact and other than an occasional sharpening and maybe a bit of oil, it's my reliable tool. Would RecommendCutting action in 25" position is great. When extended to 37", cuts require the wingspan of an albatross. Crux: plastic locking mechanism...broke on first use. Hoping for replacement of tool or peice of plastic!

Locking handles
Would RecommendThe best part is the way the telescoping handles lock with the flip down locks. I have another pair that twist lock, and ALWAYS unlock and slip. These new ones won’t do that.
