Would RecommendBought one of these years ago for my detached garage. Have never had a fire but figured better safe than sorry. Parked my lawn tractor inside the garage last summer after mowing the lawn. Turned to leave the garage but for some reason I turned back around and saw the tractor smoking with small flames coming from under the hood. Grabbed the extinguisher and quickly put out the fire. No real damage to the mower other than a melted ignition wire. Luckily I got the fire out before the fuel hose melt...

Would Not RecommendThis size bottle is now required in NJ. The unit does not come with a fire bottle weight tag for annual checks. One of the cardboard box flaps has a “cardboard” tag that can be cut out but it is unwieldy and looks unprofessional. Many municipalities require annual testing. The addition of an acceptable standard tag would add pennies to the cost of the product. The tags are not sold separately. Other manufacturers include one tag in their units and are priced lower.
