Ratings & Reviews for First Alert BRK Battery Carbon Monoxide Detector 6 -Pack

Replaced dated older units

Bought this set to replace models that were nearly 8 years old when one stopped working. The package carries a 5 year warranty so they outlive their expectations. Test alarm is loud. We set a yearly alert to change the battery in each unit so they are fresh.

Perfect Timing!

Found this two-pack on an end cap at Lowe’s the day after my old carbon monoxide detector went bad. Talk about perfect timing! Exactly what I needed, and getting two detectors in one package was a bonus. Very happy with the purchase!

Reliable peace of mind

I purchased for my son’s apartment for my own peace of mind. It works well and easily hangs with command strips for locations where hammering in wall isn’t allowed.

Peace of Mind!

My husband and I purchased this about 2-3 weeks ago and the timing was perfect because our existing monitor (same ones) finally had died after about 3-4 years. Having these monitors gives us peace of mine and they are very easy to set up.

Will buy again

This is not the 1st or 2bd detector that I bought...I trust the brand and the vendor who supplies it.

Reasonable price vs HomeDepot.

Easy install.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors.

Came with battery(ies). Good brand. Tested exactly as it should . Let's hope never needed.

Easy install placed it right next to air handler and water heater

Cheap Insurance For the Living

I bought these a month ago to replace same model units. I test each at least semi-annually. Luckily, none of the CO detectors have ever gone off, but they help me sleep at night.

great

i bought around 3 weeks ago and i have not had any issues so far it is worth it , it was so easy to mount as well

Dead batteries(?) right out of the package.

Bought these and they started beeping as soon as I put the batteries in. According to the directions, it’s doing the low battery beep. I guess they are coming with dead batteries these days. I bought the pack that came with batteries because I didn’t already have 9volts at home. Will be returning them without having been able to actually use them.

Good detector

I like the fact that this is battery operated… and is a reliable carbon monoxide detector that can be replaced every 4-5 years at a low cost.
