FALSE ALARM DISCUSTED
Would Not RecommendThese things go off when ever they feel like it. For NO REASON. Not cooking and not doing anything different than any other day. These are around 200 and some dollars. You think you would get better quality from FIRST ALERT. But I guess like any thing else NO ONE CARES for real.
They work
Would RecommendPlugs work with existing BRK plugs. The voice feature is good for telling between smoke or carbon monoxide. The location setting is totally useless and difficult to navigate, ended up not using the feature at all. Over all I would have purchased the non voice models had they been in stock.

Good product but disappointing condition
Like the product..though the units received were more than a year old which limits the self imposed useful life of the product which FirstAlert says (and our experience supports) is only 5-7 years max. So we’ve already lost 1 + years or 18%+

Great set of alarms
Would RecommendThe alarms were easy to setup and install. I like that we can setup the location of each alarm. Voice prompt will let you know were the location of the emergency.

constant false alarm
Would Not RecommendI have had MULTIPLE false alarms since changing to your smoke alarms and CO detectors… they are all in pristine condition and batteries recently changed… when the false alarm is triggered there is no talking to tell what alarm or what room… it has happened at 3am and in the middle of the night multiple times… my wife has epilepsy and being startled out of sleep is a seizure trigger… we replaced our old detectors with these because we have a 3 story 4000 square foot home and they were supposed to...

Drains batteries
Would Not RecommendI bought the 6 pack of these, and hardwired them correctly. I have used several different brand new name brand batteries and I only seem to get about 4 months out of them before the conviently start chirping in the middle of the night of course. If I or the manufacturer can't figure anything I will be taking them down and replacing them.

First Alert
Would RecommendI replace all the detectors in our home. These detectors were a simple three wire hookup. They are easy to program and extremely loud. So far they have worked great.
voice is super loud
Would RecommendThese have a programmable voice to let you know which room has the alert. They ate very loud and get the job done. Hopefully I never need them to do their job and they expire first.

First Alert CO & Fire Alarm w/ Voice Alert
Would RecommendInstallation was easy. Vocal alarm location settings were simple to follow & easy to revise an incorrect (by user) location setting. It is nice to have an alarm that can identify a problem (fire or high CO levels) by location. System test proved the tested unit location ID would be repeated by all system units. I will purchase additional systems for my rentals & vacation home.
