Easy Replacement for Malfunctioning Unit

We had a smoke/CO detector start malfunctioning recently and needed to replace ASAP to keep the family and house safe. Our home detectors are hardwired and integrated so I worried it would be difficult to set up, but I just plugged it in and followed instructions to set it up as the correct location. Whole install and setup was under 5 minutes.

Always Happy With These

Would Recommend

We have had this type of smoke/co2 detector for 15 years, and we have several. We have been very happy with them. We were just swapping an expired one out for this one, so it was easy, as we didn't have to do any wiring. We just unplugged the old one and plugged in this new one. It's never a fun task as they are very loud to test, but they seem to all work well. We have 3 of these combo detectors and 4 smoke only detectors, and they're all interconnected.

Simple Smoke & CO Detector

Would Recommend

I purchased this First Alert smoke & CO detector to replace an existing First Alert detector. It was simple to take the old one down and install this new detector in its place. It's just a matter of unplugging the connector of the old one and, with the same connector, plugging it into the new one.
