We used it for cutting aluminum tubing and channel 1/16” and 1/8” thick. Saw works well, only negative remark is the laser guideline is about 1/8” off, we compensated for that and it worked good.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Better than expected Decent quality cuts 1/8 steel very well , did about 40 cuts with the supplied blade without any issues . Would recommend the steel specific blade though

Fantastic small frame saw
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great small sliding miter saw. I'm making 40 picture frame cabinet doors and the 45 degree miters are right on the money. The saw is light and small enough to store easily when not in use. I haven't cut metal yet but it does a great job on wood. The saw accepts both 20mm and 5/8 arbor blades by flipping over the blade inside washer. Evolution is a great buy.

Can’t go wrong
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it fast, well packaged, nothing missing or broken. Right out of the box is gave true, clean and square cuts. Built a fence gate real quick and seriously considered buying a second one because it was such a good deal for a light chop saw that has features that others at more than twice the price don’t. You might buy something more robust if you’re a professional framer building a house or barn but for a weekend carpenter or craftsman this...

Excellent machine. Updated my original mitre saw as this one had the benefit of laser line and sliding mechanism. Good value for money and worked really well cutting decking timbers that were laid diagonally.

I can’t believe that I have waited so long to buy a mitre saw. The mitres are perfect every time and all done in a flash. Excellent macihine, easy to set up and use, even for someone close to 80.

Delivery as per promises, the unit itself is exactly what I needed as a present to my daughter, who has little experience of power tools. Good safety precautions on the unit, very effective cutting action, easy to use and understand. So good that a second unit is on my birthday wish list !!

This is a cracking saw very accurate cuts needed a slight adjust to get it bang on 90 & 45 degrees but all saws I’ve had this has needed doing so no problem at all. Along with my rage 5s table saw most of my cutting needs are met. I have a large 12” miter saw so this 185mm saw is perfect for the more smaller of my projects. The quality of cut from the blade is pretty good for a multi material blade. And the trenching function is very consistent two projects completed and it’s only a week old lov...

The sliding maitre saw that I purchased recently is excellent and no adjustments were required to the mechanism to ensure that the angles required (45 and 90) as they were exactly the degrees stated when using the saw. A quality product at a very reasonable price. Many many thanks.
