Ratings & Reviews for Ettore 5-ft to 16-ft REA-C-H Telescoping Aluminum Extension Pole

Weak but works

The plastic threads are weak & can easily be over tightened. Nevertheless it gets the job done without the high price of a more sturdy pole. Just be sure to fully extend & test ALL of the thread sections before purchasing or leaving the store to save a trip back lol!

garbage

I returned it because I thought I got a faulty unit. I went back and tried all the others and the same thing happened. not one of them would tighten the last telescope making useless as it spins and doesn't extend all the way.

Long and bendy

Excellent reach. However, some sections will not stay locked. I am tempted to return it for that reason.

Solid, well-priced.

I use this extending pole in a manufacturing setting to clear cobwebs and dust the walls. It's a better price than a lot of industrial suppliers for a solid tool that stands up to a bit of damage. I wish the cobweb duster heads screwed on instead of clip, but you can't have it all.

TOTAL GARBAGE!

Absolute garbage! This pole is required for my job and I am now on my 3rd one, and Ive only worked for this company for 6months!! It gets totally stripped out when you go to tighten it at the extension points. You can twist and twist but it will never tighten up and stay extended. This is happening in less than 2 months of time, and its only used a few times a week. It should last for way longer!!!

Make sure extender locks properly before $

When extended, would not lock in place. Took it back to exchanged but they were out so just returned it

Verify operation before leaving store

Upon getting this product home, we found the bottom segment could not be tighten to desired length. Returned the product to the store and informed store it was defective. We haven't been able to locate a replacement.

This is a very sturdy product.

It works as promised. It is very helpful in reaching high places.

Finally, just the right length at a decent price.

I used it for the first time today on a window cleaning job. I was easily able to reach to the top of the high 2nd story windows. I like how the sections lock by turning the actual section rather than turning a locking ring between sections. I've been doing window cleaning for almost 45 years now, and I think that as long as the pole continues to function properly, this could end up being my favourite pole!

Great product, needs some improvement

I own a few of these extension poles for painting. Sometimes the first extension section does not lock very well and requires you to keep twisting the pole for it to finally lock the extension. This is a good product and I would buy again and again.
