What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this hammer for exceptional durability, balance, and comfort. Most emphasize the one-piece forged steel construction feels built to last a lifetime, with many reporting ownership spanning 20 to 30 years. Reviewers consistently highlight the well-balanced design, comfortable grip, and reduced vibration that enhance control and precision. Strong brand loyalty is evident, with customers expressing deep trust and pride in the American-made heritage. A very small number mention a distinct metallic ping sound, though this is noted only as an acoustic characteristic, never as a functional flaw. Overall, customers consider this the only hammer they will ever need.

Very happy with my new hammer. I expect it to perform well and last a long time. I have used it a couple of times and was not disappointed.
Great Hammer!
Would RecommendYou don't realize how much of a difference a well designed hammer can make until you use one. This is perfect for framing and many other general uses. The smooth face makes it safe to use when tapping surfaces that you can't afford to mark up. Fantastic tool!
Great hammer!
Would RecommendI had an old hammer for about 20 years. My teenage son used it once and lost it. So he bought me this new one, and I LOVE it. I use it for small projects around the farm and it's excellent.

Great hammer.
Would RecommendGreat hammer! My last one was stolen on a job site and now I have another. It’s well balanced and drives the nails easily.
Framing Hammer
Would RecommendIf you are doing any type of framing or remodel of a house you need one of these. Very well balanced, nice long handle, and the claws are positioned well.

Would Not RecommendBought the 28 oz hammer for its weight to drive nails into 70 year old oak framing. Been using a 20 oz fiberglass handle Vaughan hammer for 30 years on general construction and fencing but needed a little more weight and the Eswing was the only option. While it drives nails into the old oak it rings with a high pitch resonance as it passes your ear. Most annoying but fortunately I do not need to use it that often. Also the checkered face is too aggressive and needed to be sanded down a littl...
