For me, the connection to the bulb is only intermittent so the bulb's base screws in the adapter but socket diameter may not be right....

A very simple and inexpensive to way to convert slotted pin type light fixtures to a traditional and more common screw type light fixture. It works. My question is, what idiot thought we needed a slotted pin type fixture in the first place? Another example of needless complexity.
