Old stock
Would RecommendI do not appreciate receiving nearly two year old stock. The trimmer and charger, okay. But not the battery. In the future I may have to skip Lowe's for EGO purchases. Maybe order direct from EGO. The nearly 2 year old battery is annoying.
Powerloader Failure
I’ve purchased a few versions of this weed-eater and every time it is because the power loader seems to fail. I’ll strip it down and clean it and it still doesn’t work. The latest one I purchased in March 2026 failed in July 2026. That’s the only down fall for me. Other than that it works as I need it to

Trimmer Head
Would Not RecommendI've only used this since May & the Auto line feed when changing the trimmer line for the 3rd time broke & won't work . Went through all of the troubleshooting steps & definitely need to replace the head already. Not very sustainable quality. Bought replacement head myself , can't wait for the replacement process , in the middle of trimming the lawn. Pretty disappointed with this product !!!

The trimmer works good but the running time is about 40 minutes I was told I would get 90 minutes

Excellent unit
Battery is a bit heavy, shame the unit didn’t come with a shoulder strap but otherwise excellent. It’s better balanced than other string trimmers therefore easier to use and the string management is fantastic

Margrath the Devourer
Would RecommendAfter using a freinds to see if I liked it, I immediately went out and purchased my own. I named it "Margrath the Devourer" this thing is a monster. It handles the simple stuff like edging with ease and then moves to the heavier weeds and brush without pause. Not having to mess with the string is a huge bonus, and the 4 Ah battery has plenty of life to handle my yard.
