TONS OF POWER
Purchased this trimmer after 5 years of owning a 40 volt model from another manufacturer. The battery on that one was getting tired. This EGO trimmer doesn't know when to quit and we'll cut anything in its path. Be careful.

Misled, but still nice.
Carbon fiber is nice, The disappointing part is when I had bought it, 2021, the pictures were not as clear as they are now, and the picture online and on the box showed the trimmer in two pieces, leading me to believe the drive was a shaft drive that allowed for other attachments. Needs improvement
Would Not RecommendTwo things would make this a much better product - lighter weight and the ability to better modulate the speed (seems to be fast and faster which limits control when required).

Delivered an Opened Piece of Junk
Would Not RecommendI can't believe the disgraceful condition my string trimmer was delivered in. I would not buy from Lowes on line again. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning this item.

Strong trimmer but has some reliability issues
Would Not RecommendOverall this has been a good trimmer and powers through most jobs. I do have a few issues 1) the spool doesn’t always work smoothly and will require taking part and reloading the trimmer line 2) after about a year the battery will no longer charge and requires replacement. Aside from those two issues is been pretty reliable.
