I left it out in the rain one night and it didn’t affect its performance at all. Just wish the battery would last a little longer .

I can always count on this to get the job done.

Better than gas
Would RecommendI was hesitant at first but I have to say I'm glad I made the switch from gas to battery. This thing has more power than my gas powered trimmer had. The battery charges up fairly quick. Plug in the battery and go. It is a little heavy after using it for a while. I only have .50 acres of property so the 2.5 AH battery is fine for that. Good product for the right user and specific need.
Would Recommendlike the weight of the unit, but for the shorter person like me (even though the length can be adjusted) the shaft is still long. If you want a 15 inch wide cut this is a good one. After using it, for me, I would have liked a smaller cutting path since I just do edging and not any side to side swaths.

Tap and go feature
Line Loading, this feature does not work very well. I Can’t get it to feed the string out properly when I tap it on the ground. I have to force feed it by hand when I need more string. Doesn’t function very good.
