Ratings & Reviews for EGO POWER+ LINE IQ Multi-Head with POWERLOAD 56-volt 17-in Straight Shaft Attachment Capable Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable

Works ok ... not exactly comfortable

I have little time with it so far. It certainly trims weeds, but I don't find it comfortable to use. I'm not a tall guy (just under 5'11"), but I can't get the trimmer head parallel to the ground - even with the support handle at its highest setting. This forces me to crouch a bit.

1st time used head fell apart. Company sent new head. Next time used worked fine. Tried to use last night, battery said full charge, wouldn't work, So hooked it up and did recharge, still won't work. wanted to return to Lowes, has been a problem since day one. They will not take back, even though it is still within the return time. If it has been opened or used it can not be returned. So $400.00 for a piece of junk. Think twice before buying

Easy to use

Just got it works great

I wish I could give more stars!

This EGO 17" trimmer is A M A Z I N G. The auto loading feature for the trimmer string is an absolute game changer! Replace the string in seconds with NO disassembly or spool winding by hand. LOVE this feature. I do wish the protective hood offered more coverage.

Good product

Very pleased with this trimmer. No bump feed, no string jams, reloading is the press of a button.

First impressions

I think that EGO just made a big fan. Been fighting with my STIHL gas trimmer for several years. It basically ran good for the first few months I had it. Decided to go electric and OMG!!!! EGO has knocked it out the ballpark with this one. First, it has POWER. More than I was expecting. I started using it on high speed and the battery was dead before I was able to finish the yard. Put the battery on to charge for about 30 minutes and it was over halfway charged up and I finished the yard. Second...

Great tool

I’ve used this till for approximately 2.5 months now and it has yet to not do what I want/need especially since Ive gotten the power brush and edger heads for it as well.

Worthless

got it all put together, charged up the 5 aH battery, the thing ran for 1 second, the motor coupler failed after 1 second. Total piece of garbage for >$400. Stay far away.

Bad Charger and String IQ Does Nothing

JUNK! I plugged the charger into a wall outlet to charge the battery. The two lights blinked and then it went dead. The string IQ does not advance the string. I cant get the string to come out of the reel. JUNK!
