Would RecommendThe Ego Power+ 18 inch chainsaw is great for limbing and bucking small diameter down blow and other storm debris. I've only used it once so far, in the week and a half I've had it. I took care of two balsam fir trees that fell down during a storm. I was bucking 6 inch diameter rounds for the stem of the tree. The chainsaw is easy and comfortable to use. A bit heavy with the battery size in the power head but it's an enjoyable product to use. I like the 18 inch bar and chain, perfect for a little...

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking
Would RecommendTrue story, my wife is coming up the driveway and ran over the saw trying not to hit my "limousine" aka zero-turn. Outside of a crack in the housing the saw works great. Got it in the fall of 25 to replace the blue battery saw that quit working after about 3 years. Plenty of power and battery run time for me. At 70, when the battery runs out it's time to sit down and rest while it charges.

Would Not RecommendSo far it has worked very well No need to keep pull starting when making many small cuts but also works well on larger pieces. No two stroke smell and noise.

Variable speed trigger takes some getting used to
Would RecommendUsed the saw today to take down some trees in the 6" to 8" diameter range. Had great power for cutting trees down and cutting them all up into "firewood" length. Every bit as I would expect from a gas saw, but without the noise or the hard start. Not a fan of the variable speed trigger--I'm either cutting or I'm not, so the variable speed adds nothing to the saw's usefulness. All in all, it is a pretty good value.
