Super quick cutting
We spent 2 days trying to cut up a huge fallen tree branch using a corded saw. Purchased The EGO 16 saw and finished the job in minutes. Cut through the 12” branch with ease.

Would RecommendI recently bought my Ego 16" Battery Powered chain saw in order to remove a dead Leland Cypress tree, and I'm certainly glad that I did. rather than used a bow saw, lopping shears, & hand trimmers, i made short work of the process using the chain saw....I heartily recommend it!

no warranty
Would Not Recommendordered this saw on line because of the great price for saw, 5 Ah battery and charger. The box came in within 3 days and we picked it up, went home, opened the box and checked the serial number.....guess what battery, charger, and saw all dated Feb 2022!!! Unbelievable.....battery warranty is 3 years, saw warranty is 5 years, so battery and charger are already 2 years OUT of warranty, saw has a measly 5 months left. Returned it same day 09-23-2026. Now I know why the package price was so much...

Would RecommendSlices through 4" limbs like butter. Easy to handle. Quiet too! I just wish it had come with initial oil so I didn't have to go back to the store to get before I used.

ego warranty is a nightmare
virtually the very first time I used it, the chain came off and kinked, making it impossible to re-use the chain. After a 45 minute phone call and being put on hold several times they finally agreed to send me another one. But so far, nothing. I live in a remote city in Canada where there are no service dealers. So if the people at the call centre don't make good on sending me a chain, I'm screwed. It's been extremely furstating dealing with Ego warranty.
