What Customers Are Saying
The EGO 16" cordless chainsaw is a powerful and high-quality tool that performs well for homeowner and light-duty use. It offers impressive cutting ability, long-lasting battery life, quiet operation, and easy-to-use features like tool-less chain tensioning. The saw is well-balanced and lightweight, making it easy to maneuver. Some minor drawbacks include occasional chain derailment and difficulty checking the oil level, but overall, it is considered a great cordless option for homeowners' light to medium-duty cutting tasks.

I bought it two years ago and now it won't work. I don't have a receipt so it's not covered under warranty even though it is clearly only two years old!

no warranty
Would Not Recommendordered this saw on line because of the great price for saw, 5 Ah battery and charger. The box came in within 3 days and we picked it up, went home, opened the box and checked the serial number.....guess what battery, charger, and saw all dated Feb 2022!!! Unbelievable.....battery warranty is 3 years, saw warranty is 5 years, so battery and charger are already 2 years OUT of warranty, saw has a measly 5 months left. Returned it same day 09-23-2026. Now I know why the package price was so much...
Easy to use and lightweight
I bought this tool a month ago after a recent windstorm and after having a large tree in the yard chopped down. I’ve been using it to cut good sized branches and trunk and so far it’s doing a great job.

Good Saw
Would RecommendIts heavy, but its a workhorse. Beats the heck out of having to pull start mess with a gas saw. Battery lasts a long time too, and I was using it to cut stuff way to big.

CS1800 chainsaw
Would Not RecommendPurchased CS1800 from Lowes Dec 2025. Did not begin to use it until late April of 2026. I was using it on a felled tree trunk having about a 3 ft diameter. The battery would die out after about a half hour. And it would take about 3 hours to recharge fully. I did not see that as a show stopper but something I wish I had known before I bought it. The real show stopper......after about 2.5 hours of use the chain would loosen and I could no longer set the tension properly. It hung off the bar. I h...

Love it or Cut It!
If you want power in a small chainsaw then you found it. Cut down a very large Arboretum seemed like it was made from stone. But the EGO+ 16" cut though it like a champ. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you, EGO+. You saved my winter snow blowing and now my fall and summer projects.
