Would Not RecommendBought this chainsaw a couple of years ago. Was excited about the technology and been happy with my other EGO tools. The chainsaw is the exception. It's ok for small branches; however, it doesn't have the power to actually cut bigger limbs. We pile our wood at the back of the property for neighbors to use in their fire pits. They always laugh because they know when I've added to the pile because all my cuts have burn marks because the engine can't spin the chain fast enough to actually cut....

Finicky chain maintenance, strong saw.
I bought the EGO 16 for camping and doing tree clearing at home. The most difficult thing to do is putting the chain oil in, but once you figure out you can only allow a tablespoon of oil to drool slowly in at a time, it just takes time to fill. I think I’m still breaking in the saw because the chain stretches easily and I have to tighten it often so the chain doesn’t fall off.
