Great saw. Compact and lightweight
Would RecommendGot it this size so my wife can use it comfortably and safely. Great Chainsaw for small homeowner jobs. We mostly cut up backyard campfire wood or wood for smoking and grilling (12' or less long and 8" or less in diameter)

Can't return after 48 hours
Would Not RecommendThis has a cord tethering the saw to a battery pack on your waist. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. I ordered the next size up without the tether. When I went to take the unused still in the box saw back within 2 weeks, I was told I could not return it after 48 hours. I had no idea the return window was so small. It seems pretty ridiculous.

Great chainsaw, no gas/oil mix needed 😀
Would RecommendAs good as a gas chainsaw. Using a 7.5A battery, you can literally cut for hours.

14 in Chainsaw
Would RecommendI was very skeptical about battery powered tools but I bought the ego weed eater then their blower. They have so much unbelievable power. So when needed a chainsaw I bought their 14 inch it does everything that my gas chainsaw did. Plenty of power.

Don't Buy EGO
Would Not RecommendAfter about a year and used twice. The saw will not run. Sent to an authorized repair facility (Northern Tool) for diagnosis. Due to internal failures, they're requesting to EGO for it to be replaced. EGO has had the recommendation for 10 days and no response. Apparently, they can't make a decision without the parent company's approval. Don't Buy EGO!!!

Long Battery life
Would RecommendVery impressed. So easy to use and safer than a gas chainsaw. Long battery life. I had to stop and take a break but the battery just kept going. I also have an EGO leaf blower. I will continue to purchase EGO products
