Order Pick -Up

Ordered an EGO Chain Saw. At pick up the box was pretty beat up but the desk personnel said all was good. Kind of embarrassing to give a gift in that condition. A lot of clear tape used to keep it together. Opened it on Father's day and found that some of the internal packaging may be missing. Instructions, warranty etc. all missing. Will be returning today. 😒

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking

True story, my wife is coming up the driveway and ran over the saw trying not to hit my "limousine" aka zero-turn. Outside of a crack in the housing the saw works great. Got it in the fall of 25 to replace the blue battery saw that quit working after about 3 years. Plenty of power and battery run time for me. At 70, when the battery runs out it's time to sit down and rest while it charges.

Variable speed trigger takes some getting used to

Used the saw today to take down some trees in the 6" to 8" diameter range. Had great power for cutting trees down and cutting them all up into "firewood" length. Every bit as I would expect from a gas saw, but without the noise or the hard start. Not a fan of the variable speed trigger--I'm either cutting or I'm not, so the variable speed adds nothing to the saw's usefulness. All in all, it is a pretty good value.

I will never go back to gas again! I cut up one huge downed tree on 1 1/2 two point five amp hour batteries, love that I don’t have to pull my arm off to get it started. Probably did maybe 50 cuts very happy

Was happy but now I am not

Bought 2 years ago. Worked great, until it did not. I fully charged the battery but the saw will not work. I have called the Support line 4 times. No one ever answers. I punched the button for a call back, but no one has ever called. Very frustrating. A good product with no support is not a good product. What do you have to do to get to support?

Chainsaw worked great at first. Motor overheats and emits smoke with the oil reservoir full. And, one of the batteries won't take or hold a charge. Plus, the plastic sawblade cover wasn't included at purchase.
