Ecobee adjusts automatically

I have had this thermostat for a couple of weeks and love how it knows when I am home. I had to take a sick day and I did not have to worry about adjusting my thermastate schedule. Ecobee did for me!

Easy to use

I have not needed to use as the temps are not cold enough. I did put the heat on once and I found this simple to use.

Confusing interface

Ecobee seems to have its own mind. It sent me email scolding me for using heat when it's 50 deg F outside !

Easy to use

I've had this product for 3 weeks now. It is easy to set up, the display is very nice to look at, and it is easy to read. Works well when APS is pulling power from my solar as well.

Excellent thermostat

We have had the ecobee thermostat for approximately 1 month. It was easy to set up, and has maintained temperature accurately. I am glad we purchased the extra sensor for our second level. The temperature difference has historically been up to 10 degrees. Now it is the same as the first level.

Upgrade from smart to premium smart

Replaced a smart wifi thermostat that came with a new hvac package, that I absolutely loved with the Premium. Works very well. Perhaps a more comprehensive user manual would be handy. The contractor didn't have a full working knowledge of the features.

Ecobee

Great smart thermostat, but a little on the pricey side. Lots of folks recommended it, so we’re trying it out for a couple weeks. So far I need to upgrade the transformer so it’ll stop rebooting.

Ive had this thermostat for 3 weeks. I find it a huge upgrade over my old one. On the initial setup. I set it at what I had the old one set. After about a week. I was able to lower the setting on the thermostat. I also enjoy the sleep mode, so I can lower the temp, when going to bed at night. The only thing that has me puzzled, is the remote sensor, that I put in the bedroom. Not sure what purpose it serves or what it actually does.

Love Ability to Control When Away

After having the thermostat for a couple weeks, we were going to be out of town, so I set the thermostat for away and then to resume a few hours before we would return to the house. It worked perfectly. Being able to check the current status while away was a plus and reassuring, since it was my first attempt at programming for away.

not smart at all

I've had this thermo for over a year, it hasn't suggested 1 schedule change - not because I follow my schedule 100% of the time (I don't), but because it's not smart. I miss my nest thermo dearly - it wasn't perfect, but it would (usually) set itself to away mode when I left the house. If I'm going on vacation, ecobee just continues to run my normal schedule unless I go through the (many, many) menus and find/enable vacation mode. With the rebate, the Premium is worth it

I bought the Premium Smart Thermostat after an electrical storm fried my previous ~10 year old ecobee 3 lite. I loved my ecobee so I immediately looked at the models they have available. We recently purchased two Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium units, and both have significant temperature accuracy issues. One consistently reads about 3 degrees hotter than both an Ecobee SmartSensor and a separate ambient thermometer placed directly next to it. One of the best decisions I made after moving into my home was contacting Palmetto Electric to join their thermostat program. Great Thermostat

I have had this for 3-4 weeks now. I came off a Gen 2 Nest, which I loved, until they sold out to Google, then Google sold me out to the electric company which started adjusting my thermostat during the day. I work from home. Easy to use and works with dual zone furnace

Very easy to install and setup. The temperature and humidity seem to be very accurate. Worked with a dual zone system without any issues. Easy to use is quick to respond to either commands via the app or thermostat itself. Interface is easy to use and seems to save money making things more efficient.
