I had the WashG1 for a month now, I use it ever other day and my floors have never looked better. It’s powerful, quiet, cleans exceptionally well. I love how easy it is to clean the rollers and the tray. I would recommend this Dyson to anyone who is looking for a hard floor cleaner.

Disappointed

A little disappointing it's very finicky sometimes it won't turn back on sometimes it takes a bit to get on the self clean cycle it's kind of frustrating for how much these things are. I had the bissle for half the price and was very excited to try this and it's was a little disappointing.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

The Good The device cleans well. It doesn't include a dryer, so you have to leave it out to air-dry. The 2 rollers spinning in opposite directions are doing a great job at cleaning, so they achieve their mission of leaving your floors clean. The water tank is not big enough, and it's the largest water tank among all Dyson washers at 1 Liter. It's enough for 4 rooms at speed 1, but at speeds 2-3, it drains faster. Got it on a big discount but even that doesn’t seem to be worth the costs. Doesn’t seem to clean that well & takes quite a bit to clean the machine. Not exactly what I was expecting comparing the experience with the other Dyson products over the years.

Great cleaner

Love this cleaner. We have dogs and it is amazing how much cleaner my floors are!!

Disappointed

I bought this because of Dyson's reputation. Unfortunately using it the first time was the last. I was very frustrated with emptying the water & tray. It did not easily work like I was hoping. I have returned this item.

Great suction and maneuvers very well!

Really good suction. Turns on a dime, easy to maneuver. Very quiet. Cleans floors extremely well. Seems efficient to me, battery lasts a good time.

It’s a yes

Surprisingly nice you get a little worried about the just water only but it actually works so I think it’s worth it. You can get the Dyson stuff to put in there but overall better than a broom and a mop.

Easy cleaning

I have WHITE tile floors and it does a great job on them. I love how well it cleans. You don’t have to vacuum first which is really nice. It mops very efficiently and your floors will be clean. My only complaint is that you need to rinse the rollers and let them dry completely between uses or they will smell moldy and your house will stink when you mop. It’s not that big of a deal for me but it’s advertised as “self-cleaning” so I hoped that would be enough. It is not. I would still rather break...

Cleans well, long run time, easy to clean

I have only used it once since purchasing. It does take some getting used to but once I got the hang of it I had no trouble using it. You have to be careful how much cleaner you put in the water because you will get a foam if you run it on anything other then a low speed. My only complain is that you cannot find the Dyson Probiotic Cleaner anywhere and even though I get notifications when it is in stock it never is. Cleans Good, Assembly and Disassembly Required

I have all tile in my 1700 sq ft house and got this to help save my back from the manual labor of mopping the floor twice a week. It cleans well, and is easy to push around, but I have empty the dirty water at least 3 times and refill the clean at least twice each time I use it. Once done, I have to take it all apart and clean it, then put it all back together and run the self clean. Real cleaning!

I’m hooked on the cleaning this machine provides for me. No more just mopping around dirty water. My tile floors have never been this clean. I’ve talked 2 of my friends to buy one too. Shame Dyson doesn’t have a reward or referral program. lol

The cleaner is ok. But the endless emails from Dyson even after I unsubscribed from them are extremely annoying. These companies and their marketing geniuses don’t understand that they are losing all goodwill towards their products.

Great product

My friend who is a Dyson pro, bought and told me I needed. I ordered right away and it does not disappoint. I even bought as a closing gift for a client. 5 stars.

Does a good job

Dyson wash G1 does a good job of cleaning my porcelain tile. I like that it always uses clean water to wash and sucks up the dirty water into a separate tank. It is easy to use and to clean. I am very happy with my purchase.

Disappointment

Only 3 stars, as never used machine after setting up & getting myself acquainted with all parts/operating. I returned item. The dirt/debris tray was almost impossible to remove on machine I was sent. I'm no wimp. However, would take gripping strength of a superhero to remove the tray. My husband is very physically fit/strong & had very ddifficult time removing tray. Tray is one of major components needing cleaned. Maybe we received defective dirt/debris tray on unit we received. Very disappoint...

Could use some minor improvements.

I live with dogs and on a gravel road, so I was excited to try out this hard floor cleaner on our tile floors. I am kinda bummed about how it cleans- if you have dried or stuck on mess, it takes multiple (I mean multiple) swipes to get it cleaned. Maybe they should have like a pretreat option? When it’s time to take the tray out to clean- let’s just say with dog hair and gravel- it’s quite gross cause you have to wipe it off cause you don’t want that down your drain! Surprising experience

We keep the tile floors of our Florida home clean but were surprised by the amount of dirt the G2 extracted from our seemingly clean floors. Simple to operate and very satisfied by its performance
