I live in Texas and purchased the generator after the deep freeze a few years ago. Our power has gone out a couple of times and my generator always starts up with no problems. It can power the entire house WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER running! I have a 100 gal propane tank hooked up to it, so it can run a long time if need be.

I used it last week, on propane, when electricity went off for 12 hours. Ran great!

Best generator we've ever purchased

This electric start generator has been a life saver. Since the drought in our area a couple of years ago there have been consistent downed trees and power lines every time there is a heavy rain or strong winds. This generator has never failed to start the first time and runs for hours on a tank of gas. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend Duromax to anyone looking for a dependable product.

Easy to set up

I bought this months ago and finally had a chance to use it because of an outage. It set up easy and powered my house for the 2+ hours I needed. So glad I picked this up, used propane and loved the push button start.

Purchased the 13000 generator. It's a quality generator, easy to use and packed with useful features. We live in a rural Midwest storm-prone area and it easily runs our house during power outages. Very dependable.

After doing my online research and seeking opinions from other users, I decided to purchase the Duromax XP13000EH. This machine is, simply amazing! Power to spare for sure and totally reliable. With the exception of powering say a drier..the machine provides all the power a typical ranch home requires A recent blackout here had me running the mchine for over 42 hours, never faltered once. Highly rec. this best-bang-for the bukc unit!

Everything I wanted no generator

Bought this about 3 months ago. Maybe for how electric goes off? Maybe once a month, we live out in the country. How is my whole house flawlessly? Except for my air conditioner and I purposely did not buy turn around my air conditioner. I bought to run my furnace in the wintertime and my refrigerator flawless

Powerful Generator However!

I bought this generator approximately 4 years ago and it’s not a bad machine. The down side to this generator is to automate choke feature which is a terrible design and the weakest feature for this generator. Should have never put a stepper motor on this weak of a carburetor, when engine back fires when trying to start on propane and wipes out the stepper motor and carburetor. A old time hand choke would have been a better option to avoid the awful backfire damage. A hotter spark plug only w...

Love propane fuel - No carburetor residue.

Bought my generator over a year ago for use during hurricanes. Have not had to use it for that purpose. Only used for periodic testing to ensure that it still runs.

It ran ok twice

The generator ran great twice then quit putting out power. I replaced the brushes and voltage regulator and started it up. It was putting out 120/240. I thought everything was great. I fired it up the next week to check it and smoke started coming from the windings and it burnt out. Not going to try to repair it anymore.

Great deal on a quality generator.

Bought this generator as an emergency generator for my home, but found myself using it to complete outdoor projects. Ran a compressor and all the power tools needed to replace my roof. Also to run multiple electric trimmers and saws while removing about a dozen trees. Now hooked up as backup for hurricane season.

I purchased this generator to use at my home due to frequent power outages. It is easy to use and not too loud. It’s size is easy to wheel around and I love the flexibility with gas/propane. I would highly recommend it!

Satisfied

I've had the 13K for 2 years. Used twice during power outage. Starts easy. I start it once a month to be sure alls we'll. My only issue is the onconsistant gas guage .
