Excellent all purpose cutting bit.

I needed an all purpose cutting bit and bought this one on a whim, best decision I could have made, all my small and majority of my major cutting jobs have been made a lot easier and faster, less stressful using a quality cutting bit like this, definitely my go to for cutting small holes to larger more complex task, you will definitely be impressed with the quality cutting of this bit, you won't be disappointed in getting it.

This is crap, unfortunately

The guard doesn't glide as smoothly or level along painted walls as it should. The bits skip around which makes a straight cut without additional equipment near impossible. The tightening screw that adjusts the depth of the cut just drills into plastic, which will eventually wear down the channel. Cheap, poor design. A surprising failure by Dremel...

Seems like a handy tool for squareness.

Looking forward to use this tool. I’m hoping it guides the mark needed.

Handy Addition

Seems well made, makes the depth of cut easy. Needed it for my Dremmel box as the old one had gone missing.

Technical question

I bought this because it fits the collet on my Zmorph CNC router. I wanted to know if this bit is capable being used in a light CNC capacity? I would be making shallow passes in wood. The spindle speed and other specs look good, just not sure about the tip of the 561. Thanks

Capable of some surprisingly big jobs

Pros: Used this tool to cut a U-shape out of a 1 inch thick MDF table. This was significantly beyond the rated capabilities of the product, but it held up and did the job. Did not break any bits while cutting, even after the bit discolored due to heat Cons: The depth adjustment is not extremely accurate. Overall, this kit is a bit expensive for what you get, but it allowed me to expand the use of an existing tool rather than buying a new one.

Great for carving odd shapes

Super accurate and helpful

Great for cutting circles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed boards across the peak of our game room ( cracking at sheetrock seam). I had to cut openings for the lights to fit but my router was too big for the project. This unit was perfect, had great feel for cutting circles.
