The mantel is perfect, we didn't like the fake marks to make it look old... we are exchanging for a more natural one.

Nice floating shelf mantle
Looks nice and rustic. The wood that mounts to studs is very soft so be careful hanging

Not 10 Inces!!
Would Not RecommendI was buying this mantel to sit on top of a pre-existing shelf above my fireplace. The shelf sticks out 9.5in so I figured a 10in mantel would cover it up. This mantel measured in at 9in and took a month to get in... extremely disappointed.
Great mantle for the price!
Would RecommendFit perfect. The return of others was very difficult having ordered them online and attempt to return at a retail store. That process took 45 minutes!
