Stopped working

We were boondocking in our RV. Stopped working on day 4. Lowes has a 48 hour return so we had to go thru Dewalt, but it's actually a Generex so referred there. They made us bring it to a local shop for diagnosis. The oil was dry. We had put the full bottle it came with day of purchase. They said it must have shut itself off to protect the engine, did an oil change & it runs (they cannot guaratee it wont burn through it again). They will not warraty it after 48 hours even though it stopped workin...

Great generator at a great price

I bought this following hurricane Isaias at the Waveland Ms location as all the Lowe's in our area of the Florida Panhandle were out of brand name generators. The generator was very easy to assemble and started immediately and ran until the fuel ran out.

Never Buy a Generator from Lowes

failed after 4 days. oil burned up. Lowes would not take it back. called manufacturer, had to drop off at a local shop, it was burning oil, then we had to call back, sit on hold 45 min, talk to another person, she had to call us back. Still waiting. Will NEVER buy a generator from Lowes again.

Bought this for home backup. Ran flawlessly, not nearly as loud as expected. Very fuel efficient if not running at maximum.This is a highly recommended generator for many many uses.

I have been fortunate enough not to "have to use" the generator over any other options, but I will tell you this: if there's an electrical outage or emergency need this thing will easily keep you going. As a standalone tri-fuel generator it's quite the workhorse!! Keep Sane & Safe During Power Outages

This is a gamechanger for living in an area that goes through power safety shutoffs. It saved our entire fridge from spoiling all the food we had just bought during a recent shutoff. We can power our entire kitchen and living room during power outages and it is easy to move around the exterior of our home with the wheels and handle. The Dewalt generator was capable of running my miter saw, air compressor and just for fun some of my Halloween animatronics with no problem. This DeWalt Portable Generator is well-built and provides plenty of power for my needs! It was easy to set up and start, and the controls are straightforward to use. The wheels were easy to add on and setting up with the propane was a breeze! One note to add is the generator is heavy so moving it may take some effort but overall it’s a solid dependable home backup power for emergencies!

Rock solid and easy usability

Generator is rock solid. The frame it’s in and the wheels make it super easy to move. Handle locks up and down. All the controls are clearly marked. Plenty of plugs and it starts cold on a single pull. It’s as loud as I would expect and runs steady even under load. Took 20 min to assemble and get running out of the box. This will be the go to emergency prep that everyone should have.

Peace of mind

Very impressed with this generator. It is very sturdy and surprisingly easy to move with the wheels and handle. I love how it is both gas and propane so I am able to use whatever I have available. This generator has been very helpful for running my miter saw and table saw outside for house projects I have been working on. I would definitely recommend this product

I bought this DEWALT generator primarily for storm preparedness and emergency use at home. I haven't had to use it during a power outage yet, but I wanted something that would give me some peace of mind and be ready when I need it. Note: If you're going to use this on your home, setup it's permanent storage/usage location. Get your circuit breaker lockout kit for your electrical box. This little guy is heavy in the box! But once you assemble the wheels and handle it is quite portable. Be aware if you are going to lift this into a pickup or something similar it will take a couple of strong guys to lift it.
