Awesome saw

This was a replacement circular saws that was a similar DeWalt that I have used for about 30 years. The new saw works as well as expected. The clear markings on the base and angle adjustment are easy to use. I also really like the brake that stops the saw when disengaged for safety.

Cuts like a beast straight and true

Feels very tight (well constructed) and quiet (for a circular saw). Installed a Diablo 40 tooth carbide blade, and for me that’s as good as you can get! Very pleased, we’ll make a lot of saw dust together!

Strong and powerful circular saw. It has more than enough power to get through ply wood and oak.

Great Saw for my needs

I purchased this saw to complete a home improvement project that my battery saw was not able to fully complete. This is a great saw and I am very happy with it's performance so far. I look forward to many more years of service from this saw.

REALLY want to give this fine saw five stars ...

This is a great circular saw that performs wonderfully, just as advertised. This should be a five-star machine, and likely is as good as any five-star-rated circular saw by any competitor. Still, it begs for improvement. Even with up-to-date bifocals, reading the numbers engraved into the saw's components is needlessly difficult, especially in bright sunshine. DeWalt already knows the solution and uses it on other products. For example, check the "miter detent plate" on the DeWalt DCS361B C...

Strictly light duty

Until today I thought this was a pretty good saw. I ripped a couple pieces of 2 X 8 and the saw is now ready for the trash bin. Past saws I had would have done this with ease. Apparently the armature went bad as I smelled something burning and noticed much sparking. I have used this saw very little and now its junk.
