Very happy with this

I have been using the heck out of this since I bought it and it's proven to be very a powerful and reliable tool. I compared the weight of several brands and sizes and this was the lightest and most powerful. I like the safety switch vs a slide switch too. I knew I was going to be using this occasionally lying on my back under an old pickup truck. I do not even want to imagine dropping a grinder and have it keep running. Gets hot

Gets too hot to touch and it didn't come with a discrewed changing tool

Good but not great

For the price it does the job. Only complaint is the guard can be funky with adjustments when a blade is on. Otherwise no problems for smaller jobs.

Works Great

This grinder is sturdy and works great. This is my second one, the first lasting several years of regular use. I don't do anything too strenuous with it, but I've not had any difficulties at all.

Easy to Use

Easy enough to control. I am not very strong and this tool makes the finishing process quick and easier for me.

Great power, easy to handle

This is a great grinder, easy to handle, great power. We use this to grind and cut on a locomotive restoration project, so it gets heavy use.

Good value with safety in mind

With a quick comparison in store, I chose this grinder because it has a higher rotation speed and has a safer switch/trigger than others in the same price range. I mean safer because it requires you to flip a small release before pulling the trigger to activate it. This was important to me because I didn't want accidental activations with how powerful and dangerous a tool like this can be. this is exactly the tool we needed and works great

Bought it to do a tile job. Used it to scrap off old glue and cut tile around door jambs. Works great.

Powerful and Balanced

When I was making my purchase a couple of reviews were focused on the Amp ratings and I bought into that and I'm glad I did. This is much more powerful than my previous B&D Angle Grinder and it's actually a slightly smaller tool. The paddle switch is a must IMHO for safety. I'm happy that I bought this model because it should give me a lifetime of household use for DIY. Well worth the money.

Not worth it at all...

I got to use this one time. I needed to grind four welds off an angle iron on a trailer so I could replace the wood. On the second weld the grinder quit working and hasn't worked since. Don't waste your money on this thing.

it works great

I use this grinder daily in the mechanic shop. Ive used it to grind down burs on auger shafts and many other things. Like cutting bolts off with a cutting wheel. I couldnt do some of the things i do without this grinder.
