Would RecommendDoing a lot of small DIY projects on our homestead, and got these to run some 3/8 holes for carriage bolts to run through to hold a large panel on a fence. Drove it through a 4x4 pressure treated post effortlessly and it's still razor sharp on the tip. Had a 1/2" thick piece of soft steel, with some lubricant and patience it cut a hole through without a problem and still maintained a good edge.
