Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 12-in 20-volt max Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Cordless Miter Saw

Fantastic features.

This saw has been incredible. Battery life is awesome using my 7.5 ah battery. Power is just as good as my 115 volt Dewalt 12" miter. Foot print is a bit large for setting on a work bench, but not a big deal for me as I use the foldable bench. Lots of feature with this saw. Amazing value for the money.

It comes with a full tank of gravity.

It's a workhorse and continues the long and storied history of saws that only need replacement because helpers destroy them while trying or avoiding moving them around. This saw is no lighter than a corded model but it is newer and new is better, right? The power link thingy would be dope if Lowes stocked the dust extractor, but alas, they can't take advantage of every dollar burning a hole in my pocket.

Best deals are at Lowe’s for dewalt tools.

Great tool and lasts a long time. I use it daily at work.

20 volt 8 amp Dewalt Cordless Miter Saw

I absolutely love this song. It’s something I’ve been wanting for a long time and it does everything that I needed to do.

It is a big saw to store.

We needed a better flexible saw for our stair project. This will do the job and we can use it for other home improvements.

Amazing Saw!

Wow! This saw is great! Super powerful and super smooth. Dewalt has added a few new features that are very nice. The arm has an automatic lock button now and they added a locking bracket to the slide arm. Both of these help tremendously with transport.

Love this miter saw

Was pleasantly surprised at just how powerful and versatile this saw is.

Excellent runtime

Lightweight powerful and portable. Very good quality. Excellent tool for profesional work

Professional Grade Saw!

I loved that it is cordless and can go anywhere on a job without needing an outlet. It is very high quality but it is still heavy because it is a 12” saw.

From Cordless Skeptic to Believer

I don’t notice a difference in power between this and a corded miter saw. I work with hard woods like walnut and jatoba and this cuts so cleanly (with the stock blade) that the cut edge is smooth as glass. The saw doesn’t bog down, either. The 8Ah battery lasts so long I forget this saw is even cordless.

Best miter saw!

This is the best miter saw I've ever owned. It's relatively lightweight for such a large saw, and it can still make big cuts.

Good for a variety of projects

This saw has been very useful for a number of projects around the property. The battery lasts longer than I expected, it has yet to run out during the day with average use. I bought it in order to bring it around to different areas away from power which has worked well, although unsurprisingly given it's size it's been slightly difficult for me to move around.

Great saw

Great saw, very accurate and not nearly as hard on battery as you’d think. God bless DeWalt!

Saw

My husband was so happy to see this when we picked up our order.

BEST BRAND AND EVEN BETTER QUALITY

BEST SAW - SIMPLE TO SETUP AND VERY EFFICIENT - INSTRUCTIONS EASY TO SETUP

Great 12-inch XR miter saw

This 12-inch XR miter saw is a powerful and very capable saw. It makes clean, accurate cuts and has plenty of power for trim, framing, flooring, and general woodworking projects. The 12-inch blade gives it a lot of cutting capacity, which is great for wider boards and bigger material. The build feels solid and professional, and the sliding feature makes it even more versatile. It is a little heavy, so it’s not something I would want to move around constantly, but that also makes it feel sturdy ...

Accurate cuts and plenty of power

This saw has been solid so far. Plenty of power for framing and trim work, and it cuts clean without bogging down. The dual bevel is smooth and easy to adjust, which makes it nice for more detailed work. Out of the box it was pretty accurate, just minor tweaks and it was dialed in. I also like that it’s cordless so I’m not dragging cords around job to job. Overall it’s been reliable and does exactly what I need it to.
