Would Not RecommendHave had two power detect 7 1/4 saws lock up after minimal use. My 4 year old brushless 7 1/4 saw is still going strong. I would not recommend wasting the money on this model till they fix the issue with the brake locking up permanently

Failed after 6 months
Would Not RecommendMotor seized after 6 months of very light use. Built a small deck when I bought it. It’s been used a hand full of times since. Customer service said it’s going to take 6 weeks to complete warranty review. So much for “Guaranteed tough”.

Burnt up!
Would Not RecommendThe second to do it. The first time was a saw the was returned and bought at a discounted price (only $50 off) and was burnt up on purchase just didn't know it. The saw was returned and replaced with a brand new saw, the new saw was used for 2 days then burned up and burnt up a very expensive battery as well.

Would RecommendExcellent power for a great Circular. Easy to use with the integrated wrench to change the blade, and has great handling. A little on the heavy side, but the weight can't really be felt in weight between this and the 6 1/2".
