Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 20-volt Max Variable Speed Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Battery Not Included)
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this reciprocating saw for its exceptional power, reliability, and build quality. The brushless motor and variable speed deliver consistent performance on wood, metal, and plastic, with many noting it matches corded models. The cordless 20-volt system offers impressive runtime and freedom from cords. Reviewers highlight the lightweight, well-balanced frame, ergonomic two-finger trigger, and keyless blade clamp for quick changes. Brand loyalty runs deep, with users citing decades of trust and repeat purchases. A few mention minor vibration or prefer alternative blade clamp designs, but these trade-offs are vastly outweighed by overall satisfaction and performance.

Lowe not honoring it price
Would Not RecommendI placed the order and it was ready for pick up hours later. I was ready to pick it up after work but it was cancelled 2 hours later and the item price went back up to regular price and the store won't honor or do anything about it. Wasted time and resource for nothing

Definite upgrade to my old DeWalt Corded Recip saw
Would RecommendHad this saw as a potential upgrade to my 20 year old DeWalt corded brushed DW304 Reciprocating Saw so I've been tracking the price and was torn between this version and the 60v version. Well today, Lowe's had an incredible sale so I jumped on it and picked it up. I can't believe that the new saw is more powerful than my corded one. I am pairing it up with my 4ah PP but have bigger batteries if I need more run time.

Being cordless makes this so much more useful.
Would RecommendBack in 2002 I got a corded DeWalt reciprocating saw. It worked fine but wasn't convenient when cutting branches and roots outside because I had to drag out an extension cord. Well with this cordless version that restriction is gone. It's just as powerful but so much more convenient. I also don't have to worry about cutting the cord because there isn't one. I should have got one of these years ago.
