Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XR 2-Tool 20-Volt Max Brushless Power Tool Combo Kit with Soft Case (2-Batteries and charger Included)

Great product

This was my very first purchase of a dewalt combo kit in the 18 volt series over 15 yrs ago i never had one problem with them i just gave them to my son because I upgraded to the 20 volt series I'm a fan of dewalt forever great product

amazing drill

We got this a while ago and it is the best set of power tools I've ever used (because my old one was a 14v nicad black and decker that smoked when it ran). Long runtime with those batteries. Fast, powerful, light, and useful. This is the best drill ever. Much better than Ryobi 18v 1+hp. Summary: Best. Drill. Ever.

Simple and well-built

I got these for small jobs around my house. I am definitely not a handyman but I was able to easily drill a few holes for shower curtain anchors and mount a few curtains and mirrors with ease. They seem very sturdy and thoughtfully crafted without unnecessary features.

Powerful combo kit!

My husband surprised me with this set! I am in love with the hammer drill and my impact driver. I also believe the DEWALT bits to go with are very long lasting. Completely satisfied with this purchase. The batteries 20V, work amazing and hold their charge! I love how compact these are and very steady!

Solid drill for the everyday grind

i have had this set since july 2019 and install solar panel systems almost every day of the week. To say the least these things take quite a beating up on the roof all day drilling out trusses and lagging bolts. I do take the best care of them that i can, and havent needed any maintenance or fixes done on either drill. But this week my driver chuck seized up to where its impossible to tighten fully and doing so takes channel locks, so i will be taking them in for yearly maintenance soon. HOWEVER...

Good deal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a year ago I needed to replace a battery for my 10+ year old Dewalt drill. Instead I decided it was time to just upgrade to a new drill. I saw this combo and was sold. Both drills have plenty of power, and both have a built in light. I love the quick connect on the impact driver.

Durable, Powerful, Must-Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set a while back, and it has done wonders since. These tools have survived 20+ feet falls, storms, wear and tear, and have proven to be a very smart purchase. They are a must have for DIY'ers as well as people in the trades. Highly recommend.

Diverse drills with so many options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Dewalt drills, impacts, and reciprocating saws for years. I love the feel and the power you get using them throughout the projects in my house.

Extremely Versatile & Durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Durable & Versatile This drill driver & impact go above & beyond the distance. A new level in professional tools. I am also Satisfied with the warranty they have. I used to have the old 18 volt combo kit as well & the reciprocating saw eventually burned out but only after a good 12 years of intensive hard labor. The hammerdrill still works however & I bought the adapter for the 20v battery for it & it continues to do the job. Great job ...

The next level of pro tools!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as my old drill (other brand) was getting rather tired and the batteries were starting to fail. I've always wanted a DeWalt setup becuase of their known efficiency, power and overall value. I've been EXTREMELY impressed with this setup! The small impact driver with the chuck is quick and lightweight, the hammer drill is just a monster! Love them both!

Broken trigger lock on drill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this set for less than a year and the drill has had a few problems, like the chuck seizing to the point I needed to use channel locks to get it open, and a broken trigger lock. The driver has been pretty good except for the occasional stuck bit.

hammered!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these drills for a while on site. As a mixer, drill, hammer drilling and more these items have not failed nor slowed down. All in all excellent performance and the added clips help to make easy carrying extremely helpful

Great tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this set for a while. Both tools work well. A pleasure to use. Solid construction. Good battery life.

My DIY Go To tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchase this set to replace a worn out Rigid 18V drill and impact set. These are lighter, durable and powerful. Love my Dewalt tools! Helped rebuild neighbors porch and front deck with not a problem. Also got the Atomic 4 1/2 inch circular saw which came in quite handy, love that I don't need to plug it in to a cord!

Does amazing work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drill is very durable and very strong. Works amazingly. It does what I need it to do without it breaking. It’s my favorite tool out of all my dewalts. I only buy dewalt for this reason. No other brand compares

Love the 3 speeds on the impact driver!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this set 3 months ago I love it. I build decks so I put drills to the test and so far I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Would highly recommend!!

High performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dewalt has become my go to power tool brand. The power and functionality of each product is incredible. Specifically this drill, so much power and long lasting battery has allowed me to do so much work, especially with building our new home prior to power being set up. I could depend on the batteries to allow me to do so much off the few I had! Thank you Dewalt!

Handles any project!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for around a year and I still haven’t faced a challenge the tools couldn’t handle. They are heavy duty and great quality!
