I have this set and I have completed many task to have a solid opinion about both the drill and the impact, both units have far exceeded my expectations the power surprised me in both units its very comparable to another 18v set I own, the overall ergonomics, balance and feel of the tool is what sets it apart great job dewalt.
Nice starter kit
Would RecommendI haven't used either of the tools in the kit as of yet. I wanted something battery operated. Just tired of pulling out the cords and dealing with them while on a ladder or just dealing with them period. I selected this to use for various projects around the house. These should work fine.

Complete Set, Nothing Else to Buy
Would RecommendThis is a nice set for odd jobs around the house, the fact that the set includes the charger and two battery packs is very convenient, nothing more to buy, although at 12V the tools do not have enough power for everyday contractor use.
