Would RecommendDewalt has really stepped it up for us full-time auto technicians! The size, power and price of this unit is right on point. I've been enjoying the extreme 12v line of tools for a couple of years now including the little 3/8 impact which I love for smaller fasteners. Great "little" tool
Would RecommendI have a DCF899 (high power impact). Really like it, but it is too big for most automotive work. I decided to get the DCF901 "in case" I needed a smaller impact. I have not tested the 901 other than take off/on a wheel. Lug nuts torqued to 85 foot pounds and it un did them without drama as would be expected. Looking forward to putting it to a true test on some rusted bolts. The only thing I would have liked is for it to have settings like the big brother has. 1-2-3 corresponding to different ft....
Great power and lightweight
Would RecommendI like this 12v 1/2" impact a lot. Works well and just nice and small and light. I have a bigger heavy duty 1/2" I use if necessary, but this does most things. I only give it 4 stars due to it not having any selector switch on it. I like having the torque selector on other impacts I've had. The 3/8 impact has the switch.
Big things in a small package!
Would RecommendIt made changing the tires on my vehicle a breeze with power to spare. This little tool is well worth the money & fits in my glove box!

Would RecommendIt is a true compact beast. This tool should satisfy most DIY out there should be able to handle 85% of all automotive tasks under 260lbs torque specs. New stubby is now yellow!
Dewalt MASSIVE Torque
Would RecommendDewalt finally out did Milwaukee!!! This little impact has massive torque!!! I only have a 150ft. lbs torque wrench.. I torqued my lug nuts to 150ft. Lbs... It took all off them off like it was nothing!!!
