Would RecommendThe product itself is top notch. Plenty of power. The downside of the whole experience was that they gave me a used one and didn’t let me know. When I got home and opened the box, the tool was stained with grease and the bag was missing. It had clearly been used in someone’s shop. Lowe’s did replace it when I complained. The should let their customers know up front and offer a lower price to accept a lesser product.

Would RecommendI’ve been looking to get a good impact wrench for some time now and today I finally pulled the trigger and purchased one. I’m getting older and really don’t want to have to muscle off tight bolts/nuts with breaker bars any more. I’ve even had to jump up and down on a breaker bar to try to break lose the bolt/nut I was working on. If you been there, you know what I’m talking about - what a pain. Would Not RecommendI bought this tool for changing tires and general homeowner use, I did not use until 97 days after purchase. The tool does not work to remove bolts. The tool will impact on but does not work in reverse. I tried to exchange at Lowe’s and they told me to pound sand.

Would RecommendPros - Amazing torque. 250 ft lbs over my air gun and will break your wrist on command. Battery lasts for days. Good for tires and suspension work requiring massive amounts of reverse torque. Cons - will break your wrist on command. Heavy and larger than my air gun. Breaks fasteners on level 3 of you're not careful. DO NOT USE ON LEVEL 2 OR 3 TO PUT FASTENERS BACK ON!!

Would RecommendI bought this as a gift for my son. He is pleased with it so far. I think that he went out and rotated the tires on all of his vehicles. Said that it makes short work of the lug nuts. He also does some front end work and thinks it will be good for that too.

Would RecommendMy only compliant is I should have purchased a long time ago. Of course prior to 20 volt and above, batteries, were pretty much worthless. I removed 4 tires off my pick up truck in minutes. One thing to mention, when comparing pricing, its a little confusing looks like Dewalt has multiple XR impact wrenches, not all are the same, my model has 700 ft # of torque, or DCF899 model.
