Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XTREME 12-volt Max Variable Speed Brushless Cordless Ratchet Wrench (Battery Not Included and Charger Not Included)

lighter than I expected

I expected it to be much heavier with the battery, but the 12v battery is compact. The ratchet is rated at 60 foot pounds, so it's probably not up to heavy usage, but still, a nice tool to have if you can get a deal on it. I received this as a free add on to a drill/driver set.

Excellent choice for the money.

I like the size & quality.

Very Handy

Another great tool by Dewalt

poor customer service

I returned the item immediately after opening the locker. The item I purchased was canceled. The ratchet was a free gift. It's still shown that I received this item. Now I have no ratchet, my money is tied up in the purchase and nobody seems to know how to remove the item from my acct.

Max torque about 40 ft-lbs, not 60

Have had a non-brand cordless ratchet (rated at 40 ft-lbs) but after yrs of use its unique battery lasts only 10 mins and it is expensive to replace. I thought to upgrade to this ratchet and found it does not have enough power to untie bolts that are torqued above 40 ft-lbs. The specs of this unit are shown as 60 ft-lbs, which is not true with what I got. I tested the torque with an accurate, manual torque-meter I have had for many years.

Disappointed

Highly disappointed in this tool very weak should’ve bought one of the Milwaukee ones like my brother in law has!

Great Ratchet

Great deal with free battery. Like that its smaller than 20v stuff.

tools

The price. I would have not bought it if it was not on sale with a free battery. The price of batteries is what deters me from purchasing more items.

Dewalt 12 volt is the shizz!

Love the compactness of the Dewalt 12 volt stuff and the small size doesn’t hinder its strength, still lots of power. I recommend the Dewalt 12 volt stuff to all the guys who work for us

Handy and useful

The tool works pretty good with low torqued nuts and bolts, gets them off fast after they have been loosened. Battery life seems to be decent. It will not go in some tight places though, too much bulk. There you have to resort to simple wrenches. In general I am finding this tool handy and a good addition to my tool box.

This Company has great tools.

DeWalt has always been a great product always works and never issues where you have to take it back.

possibly the worst cordless rachet available.

i bought this a year ago and i have only recently tried to use it since finalizing my move to my new shop. i have to say, if the bolt has ANY bit of resistance it will NOT take it out, it will run it in but it does a horrible job removing bolts. i have a 10 yr old acdelco that the last time the battery was charged was when i moved (see above, close to a year ago) and i had to use it to finish the job behind the dewalt. i have thousands ni dewalt tools and i have to say, if this is how the new st...

Good
