I purchased the battery and charger on sale. I thought I was getting a good deal. Soon after I purchased the set the battery seemed to lose power really quick for a new battery. I was told it was past 30 days and I should take it up with DeWalt. When I did contacted DeWalt we found out the battery was over 3 years old and DeWalt said the warranty was expired. Durable Dewalt Battery and Charger

Purchased this Dewalt Battery and Charger for my son. He charged the Battery for an hour and it powered the portable fan for hours with no issues. I wasn't familiar with this product, but the Sales Floor Manager Nashla at the Siegen Store recommended this product and it worked great. Nashla was super helpful and knowledgeable. My son was pleased and we would recommend this product.

Dewalt battery and charger

Long run time, compact, and strong.

I’ve been using it with the dewalt 21 degree framing nailer and it’s been chugging along great. The power stack 5 ah is the smallest 5 ah battery I’ve ever got a hold of. I have NO complaints on this battery at all!

Well built battery

Lasts awhile when using with saw without loss of power. Would like to see the price of the battery decrease when a charger is not included though. Sometimes the price difference is so minimal I get it with the charger anyway.

Small form

Powerstack For The Win!

I use the 5ah on all my tools that like the extra oomph and the 1.7ah ones on the tools that don't need it. The Powerstack 5ah seems to last longer than my non Powerstack 5ah ones. Long lasting battery

Great combo of size and power.

I wanted a battery that had plenty of power but didn’t weigh me down. This power stack battery fit the bill perfectly. In my cold garage, it fired plenty of nails and never left the nail gun wanting more.

Outperforms All my Old Batteries by a Long Shot

Powerstack 20V definitely a upgrade over other 20V

Would highly recommend using the power stack 20V on any job site . Keeps going when other batteries lose charge. I liked the light on the back of the battery that tells you how much charge is left . Dewalt Delivers POWER via PowerStack 20v 5AH !!

Possibly a defective battery

I put the 5AH power stack battery on the same tool, and it ran 9min, 21sec. I recharged and tried again with same result. Defective items happen, but would have liked a good battery to review

Great battery with a decent charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5ah powerstack battery is a great battery for the size and weight for all day use on most tools. I could tell that it does give a little more power for the various tools I used it with. Examples are drills, impacts, and nailers. The charger isn't half bad. It seemed to charger up the battery in just over an hour from completely drained.

Solid battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery is solid. First impressions are very promising. The Powerstack 5ah is slightly shorter and wider than the non Powerstack 5ah. It has a nice rubbery bottom which i like a lot. The LEDs for the battery level indicator are white instead of yellow. The latch that locks the battery to the tool seems robust but is a little tight. That will probably loosen up with more use. I like what I've seen so far.
